Lee Clift is a skilled and accomplished individual who has made significant advances in his field. In his journey from a Structural Engineer to the Detailed Engineering Director at Boustead International Heaters over a span of 25 years since graduating with a BEng qualification, he has left a lasting impact.
During this time, he enhanced the structural design department, established a detailed drawing department, and implemented an internal piping design and analysis department. Lee played a key role in establishing teams in various remote locations, including Malaysia, Singapore, and the USA. Moreover, he was involved in setting up a fabrication shop from scratch, ensuring proper certification for industrial fabrication. His dedication has taken him around the globe to different sites and fabrication shops, focusing on maximising efficiency and quality.
Lee’s extensive expertise in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in Fired Heaters and Waste Heat Recovery Units for onshore and offshore projects, has solidified his reputation for dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence. His contributions have played a pivotal role in shaping industry standards like API.
Throughout his career, Lee has demonstrated a passion for high temperature design, big lift and modularisation concepts, constantly seeking out new challenges and opportunities for growth. His extensive knowledge and skills in all things Petrochem have allowed him to excel in his work and deliver outstanding results.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Lee is also recognised for his strong work ethic and collaborative mindset.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Lee is an experience weightlifter and bodybuilder, with an emphasis on size and strength, and has been training for nearly 30 years. Other interests include mountain biking in the forest where he enjoys the peace and quiet of nature, he is an avid film buff and a petrol head.
